Sunday Snapshot: Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn

Yesterday, I braved the oppressive NYC heat to spend the afternoon walking around Renegade Craft Fair Brooklyn. During my stint in East River State Park, I saw tons of great displays and met quite a few talented makers who were—with mostly good humor—struggling against the strong gusts of wind and complete lack of cell phone service (read: no credit card processing ability) to bring handmade goodness to the people of Brooklyn. While I was there, I snapped a couple of photos of my favorite booths, including Kitty Jones, a Long Island City-based purveyor of mason jar cat grass kits and awesome cardboard cat scratchers, and Farrah Sit, a Brooklyn-based maker of adorable ceramic planters.

Did you go? What were your favorite finds?
